I’m Alex Piroth, a game programmer and designer based out of Orlando, Florida. I’m extremely proficient in C# and Unity, fluent in Python, C, Lua, and Java, and a very fast learner of everything else!
My Work
Prawemit is a puzzle platformer for the Nintendo Switch, currently in development by Arcvale. My main contributions so far are overhauling and fixing the saving, switches, and block rotation system, as well as designing and programming a gravity reversal mechanic. The game is unfortunately not yet available to play but you can contact Arcvale at https://arcvale.com/contact-_new/.
Vector-C is a top-down local PvP shooter developed at a game jam at my university. My main contributions were the player movement and the ship selection system. The game is available for download at https://jackaustin.itch.io/vector-c.
Antivirus is a tower defense game developed entirely by me. The game is available for download at https://alexpucf.itch.io/antivirus.
Flingaling! is a roguelike slingshot game developed for the Orlando Game Jam. My main contributions were designing and programming the powerups, shop, info cards, and the art for many of the powerups since our team didn’t have a designated 2D artist. As I’m not an artist myself, I came up with an aesthetic for the game to make the lack of technical skill into a charming quirk instead of a shortcoming. The game is available for download at https://avmworks.itch.io/flingagling.
